EVAN MICHAEL GREEN PREMIERS LYRIC VIDEO FOR “WAKE UP MARY PLEASE”

Today we’re introduced to the sounds of Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and self-taught producer Evan Michael Green. In late 2015, two years after graduating from the Berklee College of Music, Evan decided to put his business degree away in favor of sleepless nights at the studio, cranking out covers by his favorite artists. His solo work and collaboration with Young L3x on the singles “Drown” and “Couldn’t Say No.”, quickly amassed close to a million views on Facebook and YouTube and thousands of fans all over social media.

Evan’s highly anticipated debut extended play, All The Things That I Am, due the spring of 2017, is a dynamic combination of playful melodies, ironic wordplay, and powerful underlying themes drawing upon his own romantic struggles and relentless motivation for success. The album offers a harsh, yet honest perspective on modern relationships in the acoustic ballad “Nice Voice” as well as the booming, bass-heavy tracks “Suspect” and “The Right Thing.” Featuring sensual rhythm, deeply personal lyrics, and unparalleled falsetto, the project is inspired by Sam Smith, Frank Ocean, and The Weeknd.

Fast-forwarding to today Evan Michael Green makes his Elite Muzik debut in the form of a lyric video for his brand new single titled “Wake Up Mary Please,” which follows the official music video for the single, released back in August that received over 71K views.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the single Evan had this to say: “I wrote this song to warn those about the severe consequences of infidelity during a time when it is glorified in mainstream pop culture
